Hi!
We are Andres and Lisa, the passionate husband-and-wife team behind The Knowledgeable Gnome.
With a shared dedication to education, we combine our unique skills to create engaging, high-quality resources for teachers and homeschooling families.
With 16+ years of teaching experience as a bilingual language arts educator, Andres offers a wealth of knowledge and insight from the classroom. Lisa, who runs a professional organizing company and has a keen eye for detail, ensures that The Knowledgeable Gnome runs smoothly and efficiently.
Our journey began at the University of St. Thomas, where Andres studied English and Lisa pursued a degree in Marketing. After graduation, we got married and started our family. Today, we live in the suburbs of Houston with our three active children, doing our best at balancing the demands of teaching, organizing, and family life.
When we’re not creating resources, we love reading, traveling, watching movies, and spending quality time with family and friends.
